The source of the world’s most sought after honey, the Manuka bush is a unique and mysterious species. Native to New Zealand and located in remote, harsh terrains, the Manuka bush faces a daily struggle for survival, much like the dedicated bees that gather its nectar.
It takes an honest day of work to make something worthwhile, and flying 5000km’s for one teaspoon of honey is no easy feat. It is no surprise then that from these conditions comes a honey that is recognized the world over as being a head above the rest.
Manuka honey is considered by many to be a liquid gold, coveted for having an array of beneficial uses. And it tastes pretty damn good. So we decided to make a drink out of it.

The UMF® quality mark was created by the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association to establish an internationally recognized grading system to give consumers confidence they are buying a 100% natural, unadulterated Manuka honey product. This UMF®10+ grading represents the levels of the key chemical markers DHA (dihydroxyacetone), MGO (methylglyoxal), and Leptosperin found in our honey. The honey in MANUKEE is fully traceable to specific sites near the Tongariro National Park.
